Ranch Data – Water
Honsinger Creek flows through TomKat Ranch and reflects the status of water cycles across the watershed. More consistent flows of cool temperature waters not only benefits aquatic and riparian life, but provides insight into the capacity of upland soils to absorb winter rains and slowly release them downstream. By monitoring creek conditions, we get insight into these connections and how to steward this critical freshwater habitat.
